Here’s what we have been up to on the island!
With help from organizations such as Earth Matter, Marine Affairs & Policy have been managing and processing the lunch waste of over 500 Harbor School Students and numerous classrooms. In 2022-2023 we diverted over 8,000 pounds of waste from landfill. This compost is collected, sorted, data driven and processed. The ready compost is then spread over our new urban farm for our community.
